These days, the little things in life have become the big things. We celebrate every little thing around here. Like when Riley "cruises" from one end of the couch to the other for the first time. Or when she copies me making a fish face followed by a big loud SMACK of those precious fishy lips, just like I showed her, for the first time. And then she goes on to practice her newest and cutest little skill as she carries on about her day.
And then there's the discovery of the ability to get just a liiiiiiiittle bit higher by getting on tip toes.
Which, at first glance, may seem like no big deal. Until of course, she discovers that that "little bit higher" allows her to play peek-a-boo with whoever happens to be sitting on the other side of the couch.
Then there's the fascination with all non-toy items, like a 2 liter bottle of coke. She rolled that thing around and chased after it for quite some time. We spun it, we rolled it, we threw it, we built towers with it we banged it on stuff... who even needs toys???
And her obsession with trying to put her headband on her own head. She tried and tried and tried to get that thing on...
In fact, she tried so hard that....
Tiiiimberrrrrr! Don't worry, she didn't even cry, and was back to her happy self in no time... That, is, after I put her headband on for her. :) Then she was all smiles. TWO toothed smiles, see?
Anyway, back to the little things... there's the awesome fort her daddy built her that she crawled in and out of over and over and over.
This little one loooooves her daddy, no question about it.
And I will leave you with this precious panda-pajama-ed buggy. She's the best little thing in the entire world.
