Anyway, what's new this week... no new symptoms, which I think is a good thing. I have actually been feeling like I have a little more energy, which is nice. I don't feel like I need a nap every single day! And I actually have the energy to cook dinner, AND do the dishes afterwards. That is a definite change from weeks past. And I have been able to feel the baby on a daily basis, which is fun! I'm trying to enjoy these movements before they turn into real kicks and jabs into my ribs. :)
Weight gain: It starts... I gained 2 lbs this week, which puts me at 1.5 pounds over pre-pregnancy weight. But according to me, I am not really showing yet. I think maybe I am looking a little thicker in the middle, but not pregnant. Boo. I was hoping I would be one of those women that pretty much keeps her normal body shape and then just grows a baby belly and is all cute and able to post cute pregnant belly pictures... well, at least right now, that is not me. Trust me, if I thought I was cutely pregnant looking, you would get to see some pictures. And maybe, some day, when I actually do look pregnant, you will get to see pictures regardless of whether I'm "cute" or not. But not now. For now, you can just get to see pictures of my backyard and maybe a video of the ultrasound tomorrow. Ooh and maybe some pictures from our wonderful vacation we're going on in 2 days!! I am SO excited for that!
