One of the challenges I anticipated was Riley's nap time. She needs me to lay with her and sing to her to fall asleep, which sometimes only takes a few minutes, but sometimes it takes a bit longer. Luckily her nap times are fairly flexible, so I made sure Jackson was fed and asleep before I went in to get Riley to sleep. She went right to sleep, Jackson stayed asleep, and we all slept for almost 2 hours (me included). It was AMAZING. And when we woke up, I made it my goal to get some pictures of my two babies together. My two big, blue-eyed babies.
Once daddy was home, I wanted to continue trying to get pictures of my two babies together, only more "posed" ones. This first one I ALMOST love. The mom in me loves it, the photographer in me does not. Riley's eyes are out of focus and it drives me nuts, but it's so darn cute and it was near impossible to get her to stay in this pose AND look at the camera for more than half a second. So this was the best one I got.
