37 weeks = full term!

Well, we made it.  I am officially full term, so baby has been given permission to come at any time.  Well, that's kind of not true, I would prefer if she waited until her due date because then my parents will be here.  But not any later than that, thank you very much.  Because if I go overdue, I might just go crazy (plus, I'm sure by then I will be super uncomfortable).
How I'm feeling: Well, aside from the alien-like activity I already mentioned, I think I'm still feeling pretty good (at least during the day).  For some reason though, I can't sit reclining on the couch with my feet up, because then it becomes really uncomfortable when the baby moves.  So I have to sit straight up, or lie on my side.  Annoying, but not a huge deal.  Tomorrow is my last day of work, and after that I get to just relax and sleep all day (wishful thinking??).  Nothing else has really changed from last week, sleeping is still a nightmare, and I am honestly more uncomfortable during the night time than any other time.  But I think I would rather have it that way than being uncomfortable all day long and sleeping well at night... Although now I am exhausted during the day unless I can squeeze a nap in somehow...

Labor signs? Eh, who knows.  Lots and lots of cramping (are those contractions? who knows...), but sometimes I can make them go away by drinking more water (which is crazy because I already drink SOO much water), and they aren't really time-able or regular at all.  Lots of pelvic pressure (baby getting lower, so that's a good sign I think?).  This may sound weird, but I am actually excited to go into labor (and not just because then I get to meet our little munchkin).  From day one I was terrified of labor... how much it would hurt, would I do anything embarrassing, would I be able to deal with the pain, etc...  But now I've kind of gotten past the "fear of labor" stage, and I'm more just excited for everything!!

Baby:  Maybe 6.5 pounds by now?  Could be 20-ish inches long?  Not really sure.  She's just big, and getting a little bit fatter every day (especially if I keep eating ice cream like I have been)!  And we are getting SO excited to meet her!

Weight gain this week:  I was honestly scared to step on the scale and see what number came up.  Let's just say I've been eating... a lot.  So this week I gained another 2 pounds.  Oops.  Supposedly the weight gain is supposed to slow down from here on out.  We shall see...

Total weight gain: 25 pounds.

Me!! (Still haven't gotten the rest of the maternity photos back, but hopefully those will be up here soon...)

We have also officially installed the car seat in our car!  I've washed and put away all the baby's clothes, and have the hospital bag 90% packed... still a few things missing.  A few more days of work left, and then I get to play the waiting game!!  To be honest though, even though I'm a bit uncomfortable at times, I am trying to really enjoy these last few weeks without baby, because pretty soon everything changes!!  Plus, how can I possibly get bored with all the world cup games on TV!!  We planned this pregnancy perfectly!!
