Since it's June now, I think it's about time for an update? Let's seeeeeee, where did we leave off... oh yes, APRIL. Ack! Cole is now just about 9 months, but! we shall rewind back to beginning of April when he was just a mere 7 months old. And looking sharp as always. Easter was, of course, a huge hit in our house. Jackson was even able to hold/dye a real egg without breaking out in hives, so we considered that a total win and major progress on the allergy front! Riley took her egg painting very seriously and was quite meticulous, whereas Jackson just made sure to cover every square inch of everything in paint. We took many walks to what is going to be Riley's school (kindergarten!!) next year. It's so close to our house so I'm pretty excited that we may actually just walk her there most days. I hope? Also- far right picture of Jack? Possibly my favorite ever. Believe it or not, I have STILL been doing preschool pictures most mornings before we leave for school. jackson is the more reluctant participant, but still semi-willing every so often, so I'll take what I can get! Now I just have to actually print them out for their journals! In April we also started soccer for both kids! They are, of course, at different times, which leaves us a nice awkward 45 minute gap to sit and wait between Riley and Jackson's class, but oh well. More time for them to run around and tire themselves out! Riley enjoys soccer, she's not 100% sure what's going on all the time, but she likes it and she's pretty darn cute to watch, that's for sure. And Jackson- this kid LOVES soccer. He lives in his soccer clothes, and he loves to play! This is his first time getting to play in a class of his own, so he's pretty pleased about it! And Cole, well, he just hangs out with me and tries to eat the grass. :) We have slowly (very, very slowly) been accomplishing more things around the house, getting it really how we want it to be. It's a slow process, I tell you. This is one of Jackson's favorite seats, perched up there waiting for daddy to get home. Cole also started crawling, which pretty much turned our entire house into his own personal playground, where he finds choking hazards everywherrrrrrre. Eyes like a hawk, that boy! Sheesh he is keeping me on my toes! He's a pretty darn happy little guy! Hates solid foods, and doesn't sleep through the night, but we'll get there eventually. Jackson. My little buddy. I leave you with a pile of pictures- no captions needed. Hopefully I'll get around to blogging about May and June sometimes before October (just kidding! I will do it this week! Promise!)
