So I think we are nearing the end of this growth spurt. I think. She ate and ate and ate all morning, and finally has gone 3 hours in a row without eating. Thank. Goodness. And she's pretty peaceful now as well, so I was able to get a picture or two! See? She has discovered the joys of sucking on her fingers.
And look how cute!
I love love love little baby leggings. And those shoes? Could they be any cuter? I think not. Anyway, there's not much new to report here, just spending lots of time indoors, sheltered from the rain and wind, feeding the wee one and trying to catch up on sleep whenever possible. I'm looking forward to getting back to "normal" with her (i.e. the end of the growth spurt). And I honestly can't believe she's almost 6 weeks old, she is getting so big! My little newborn is gone, and has been replaced with a big baby that's only going to get bigger and bigger! I must say though, I am enjoying each and every moment with her, even the 2 am (and 3am and 4am and 5am) feedings. She is just so cute, and it's a whole new kind of feeling to have someone so totally dependent on you, to need you so whole heartedly. And I am lovin' it. Motherhood is something special, that's for sure.
