So we are taking Riley on her first international flight at the end of August. Which means, she needs a passport. Which means, she needs a passport photo. Now, this is no easy task for a newborn. Especially with the strict requirements for passport photos here in NZ. For example, for this photo, we need eyes open, looking at the camera, both ears visible, mouth closed with a neutral expression on her face. She needs to be on a plain, light-colored background (but not white) without any shadows. Bah. I probably took a total of 100 photos trying to get ONE good one. My first set I took on a white background (oops), the second set I took on a beige background but it had a line on it (oops again), and the third set i placed her on a light colored t-shirt (because we apparently don't have any light colored blankets without patterns on them). Here's some of our failed attempts...
But I think we got one good one... both ears, eyes open and looking at the camera, mouth closed... winner! I hope...
