(1) Shadows
(2) Patterns/repetition
(3) Bright white
Are you tired of seeing pics of my baby's face yet? Okay we'll include some non-Riley photos...
(4) Strong
(5) Warmth
First, this week's Scavenger Hunt Sunday words: Shadows, Patterns/Repetition, Bright White, Strong and Warmth. Hmmmm, well, I'll be honest. I waited until the very very very last minute to do this. As in, I took most of these photos today, not throughout the week. And some of them are a bit of a stretch. But, whatever works, right? My interpretations: (1) Shadows I shared this photo the other day, but we had a picnic the other night after Mark got home from work. It was actually pretty sunny, so we had to put Riley in Mark's shadow to get a semi-decent shot of her in his SHADES, and I like how you can see us in the glasses. (2) Patterns/repetition We took some Valentine's Day photos today, and Riley LOVED this lollipop (of course). It was her first taste of sugar (don't give me the side eye, she licked it for like 10 seconds, and yes, she cried when I took it away). (3) Bright white Mmmm, didn't really have anything for this one, and I was so not feeling creative, but this picture just sort of said bright white to me (well, actually, it said "bright blue" to me, but then besides the blue, it's bright white), so I'm going with it. Are you tired of seeing pics of my baby's face yet? Okay we'll include some non-Riley photos... (4) Strong In one week I'm running a half marathon. And it's not going to be easy for me by any means. It will be my first one. Today, I ran 10 miles, and I was hurting. I had to keep telling myself I'm strong, I can do this, I WILL do this. Haha so if you don't hear from me next Scavenger Hunt Sunday, just assume I'm totally passed out on the couch post-half marathon, too tired to even type. :) (5) Warmth This is the warmest hat Riley has. I know, I was not very creative this week with my photos, I'll do better next week. Next: IN LOVE photo challenge: I am so so so in love with these two. This is my 6th valentine's day with my husband. And valentine's day is particularly special for us, because it was the very first time that I nervously told my then-boyfriend that I loved him. I was so nervous. I had known I was in love with him for months, but I was just so scared to actually say those three words! What if he didn't say it back? But I finally mustered up the courage, and on Valentine's Day 2006, I told him that I loved him. And as you can imagine, of course he loved me too. And you know what, each year I fall in love with him even more. And that other little monkey? We are both just head over heels in love with her. Every single thing about her. And you know what? She thinks we're pretty neat too. And of course, my little little Valentine. More pictures to come on actual Valentine's Day, don't you worry And finally... My funny valentine, papermama, and paper heart camera photo challenge photo.

love those eyes - I was thinking about the bright whites of the eyes (as opposed to mine at the moment (lol))

Love all of your photos, your baby looks like my Big Girl when she was that age, huge blue eyes and all. Your shots are a great way to document her childhood.
