Oh boy, now all she wants to do is stand (assisted, of course). I swear we're going to skip crawling entirely and go straight to walking.
I have to get a video of it though, she can stand holding on to our fingers for quite a while, but she gets a little wobbly, and it looks like she's doing a hula dance. So. cute. Side note: can you spot something "Christmas-y" in one of those photos above?? Now that Halloween is over, and there is no Thanksgiving in NZ, we can get ready for Christmas!! Right?
We have a big weekend ahead of us... I'm on a mission to completely de-clutter our lives. I have a tendency of, um, keeping EVERYTHING. As in, we have boxes and bins of stuff we don't use, and probably never will use. But every time I go to give it away, I think what if maybe in the future we might use it? And then I re-store it and that's the end of my de-clutter process. But not this time. Oh no, this time I'm in it for real. In fact, I've already given away two huge bags of stuff (clothes, shoes, soccer bags, sheets, household items) to salvation army!! So my mission this weekend is to simplify our lives, and not keep anything I haven't used since we've lived in this house (which is over a year).
And now that the weather is finally good, we are re-starting our outdoor landscaping projects. We finished the fence, the patio, and the back retaining wall, so aside from some weeding and planting, the backyard is finished!! But the front yard, umm, has a ways to go. A long ways. Looks like we have some busy weekends ahead. Although literally as I just finished typing that, it started to POUR. Hmmm. Here's what Riley thinks about that (this her new face she has been making)... Crazy baby.
