Oh yeah, one more milestone? BABY BUG IS GROWING HAIR. Enough hair to have bed head. No really. I documented it.
She's been pulling up to her knees for a while now, and occasionally up on to her feet. But I think she's pretty much mastered it now, which means she is pulling up onto everything. Especially if it means she can then reach remotes, computers, my camera... nothing is safe anymore! Oh boy, we're in trouble. Of course, then she spotted me with my camera, and was across the room in about 2 seconds flat. When she sees something she wants, she doesn't waste any time trying to get it. Now I do love when Riley achieves new milestones, I really do, except it wreaks havoc on her sleep. Now that she's figured out she can stand in her crib, that's all she wants to do. If she wakes up in the middle of the night, instead of rolling around and then going back to sleep, she pulls up to stand. And she cries. And cries. She knows how to get back down, so that's not the problem. I don't know, I'm hoping things will go back to normal soon!! The same thing happened when she learned how to get herself into a sitting position, and when she learned how to crawl, and after the novelty of each of those milestones wore off, she was back to normal. But she seems to be waking up and crying much more this time around. Maybe she's teething? I've said she's been "teething" for over a month now, we can see and feel that second bottom tooth right under the gums, but it just will not break through! Any day now, aaaannnnnny day. Maybe. It's all a guessing game, this whole motherhood thing. Oh yeah, one more milestone? BABY BUG IS GROWING HAIR. Enough hair to have bed head. No really. I documented it. Do you see that!!! It's like a little ball of fluff on the back of her head! Bah I LOVE it!
