I think I'm going to buy myself a desk. I want to create a workspace, somewhere I can go and play with my photos and make scrapbook pages and surf the internet and learn about photography. Somewhere I can work and feel inspired. So I'm buying a desk. And we're going to store our extra bed, and simply set it up when we need it (basically when my parents come to visit). So our crammed little guest room is going to be transformed into a double office, with a little extra room for baby to play. It may take a while, but it's going to be awesome. And organized. Unlike now, where we basically use the room as storage/ a dumping ground. But I got a little over-excited about this, and seemed to have made a huge mess as a result. Right now there are 2 mattresses and a box spring leaning against 3 separate walls, a bed frame that needs to be disassembled, a huge pile of sheets/blankets needing to be washed, and papers everywhere! Bah. And where am I going to put this extra mattress, not to mention the bed itself? Mmm, didn't think that far in advance. It's a work in progress.
Any who... looks like I've got a lot of work to do. But it's tough to get much done with little baby bug around! Although she's got a new favorite way she likes to be held. She practically melts in her daddy's arms... And do you like that sweater she's wearing? Thanks to great Grandma Neila for that one!!
Anyway, so instead of cleaning up the huge mess I made today, we went to watch the end of Mark's soccer game, then went to see Megan and Rowland (Nana and Grandad) for dinner! Oh yes, and Harvey too... He made sure we didn't forget about him, as he climbed up onto a chair to steal Riley's pacifier from on top of the table. Mark scrambled for the camera, but he had already dropped it before we could get a picture. But imagine something like this... literally.
But we did manage to get a couple good shots while we were there...
