The nursery is basically finished. All it needs is a few photos to go in some empty frames, and I think that's it. We are using Riley's old nursery, which means it already had the crib and rocking chair in it ready to go. We just need to raise the mattress up a few levels. The rocking chair we have for her is honestly one of my favorite pieces of furniture we own, it is SO comfy and it's just perfect. Also, lucky for me, Riley's room was already painted blue. We painted it when we moved it, before we were pregnant the first time, but i knew that I wanted to room to be blue, and we used pink accents to make it more girly for Riley, and now it's perfect for a boy's room!
_One thing I did want to do was add some artwork. But, I didn't want to spend any money. So, I sort of cheated, and basically found something off the internet, changed colors to suit my purposes, added the baby's name (!!!!), used frames we already had, and voila! Free artwork!
And a little closer up...
We already had the other wall art below (says adorable, creative, and sweet), so I just added some little 3d stickers that we also already had to make it a little cuter...
And a few more... This room is teeny tiny so it's hard to get it all in the shot even with a wide angle lens, but you get the basic idea. The unseen wall is just a closet...
Now, the bumper and pillow will be taken out before baby sleeps in there, but other than that, we're done!
