On a more positive note, Riley has learned how to give kisses, and it is the most amazing thing in the whole entire world. If you get close to her and say, "Riley, can I have a kiss?" she leans into you with a big open mouth and gives a kiss!! At first she would only do it for Mark, but I got quite a few kisses today while he was at work! No pictures, unfortunately, but I will leave a few pictures of the cuteness. I tried to get the whole outfit from the front, but getting a picture of Riley sitting in one place, looking at me is basically impossible these days. I have to bribe her with remotes. And even then she's off in a second. But that's alright, she's still cute even if half the photos I take are a blur. Or have a TV remote somewhere in the background.
See this face? Cute, right? Mmm hmm. Yeah, well. She bites. As in, she bites ME while nursing. I thought I was going to get lucky. I've herd plenty of people talk about their babies biting while nursing, and I had yet to experience it. Until tonight, that is. Now, she's only done it once, and she did it because she was full and I was trying to make sure she didn't want any more before putting her to bed, which she clearly didn't. But OUCH. I am really hoping this is not going to become a regular thing. And that she doesn't get top teeth for a long long time! Because that is not going to feel very good. Anybody have any tips to stop the biting that they can share?? On a more positive note, Riley has learned how to give kisses, and it is the most amazing thing in the whole entire world. In case you were wondering, that jacket is size 12-18 months. A little big, but at least we'll get a year's use out of it, right? Happy weekend!!
